Bleh, I'm beat. Got back from Seattle late last night...didn't have time to do shit besides go straight to bed and get up for work. The trip wasn't bad until the return home. Had a good opportunity to bond with my co-workers, though I can't say I appreciate their low standards for food. The first meal we had was in an Italian chain restaurant...where's the seafood?! For lunch the next day, we go to the waterfront and end up at...a chain burger joint. I suppose I could have broken off, but that would have only caused unnecessary tension. Next time I'm definitely gonna have to research some places and have it all planned out in advance. Even though the food was mediocre, the actual business part of it went smoothly and we had a good time. The trip turned shitty on the way back. We ended up having to wait around for 5 hours in the airport, the guy next to me in the plane had some mega B.O., and the cab driver that drove me home was a total prick. It's sucks how quickly you can go from flying high to hating life.
Oh well, you gotta have those rough spots to make you appreciate the good things all that much more.
