I always start a new blog entry when I have like 10 minutes before I leave for work. I have lots to say, but need to prioritize my thoughts...hmmmmm. Well, I'll focus on the good stuff...a good friend of mine and his wife are hosting a shabu shabu party tonight...always good times. I'm on booze detail, so I decided to drop a small fortune on Belgian ale. On the testing menu tonight are Delirium Tremes (one of my faves), Corsendonk, Golden Dragon something something, Roquefort 8 and 10. The alcohol content on these is quite high, so we'll enjoy them early when we can appreciate, then move on down to "trash" beer when everyone is happily drunk. I think one guy is bringing sake too...bad news. I love sake, but the stuff that goes down like water is dangerous...VERY dangerous. 
Oh, and the food will be great too! I'm looking forward to it. I think they're inviting a "single friend" for me...I hate when they do that. Well, gotta go earn a living!
