Yeah well, I heard back from the company I interviewed with last week. They said "you're still in the running, but we are interviewing more candidates". That's a nice way of saying "you're not ideal". I wish there was a way to convince them I'm the ONLY person who can do this job without being annoying. Hopefully, the other people they interview are equally inept. 
I really do want this job. The company is awesome and it's pretty much exactly what I was looking for.
Otherwise, just been keeping it cool. Trying to set up more interviews, but I'm in the really fucked situation of being over-qualified for an entry level position, and not qualified for a specialized position -- the joys of middle management. If only I had paid more attention in all those programming classes or shirked my duties to learn HTML on the job like my buddy did....the work would be boring as hell, but at least I wouldn't be idle.
Picked up a book called Culinary Artistry. It's pretty interesting...anyone who considers themselves a "foodie" would do well to look into it.
