So I drag my ass to San Jose yesterday to see about a job. Been talking to a company for a month and thought things were picking up -- actually started to discuss salary and all that. Finally meet them face to face and I get lip service. I politely told them I had enough talk and that if they want me on board, they can make me a job offer. IF not, I don't wanna hear from them again. Fucking sick of people being indecisive or not saying what they mean.

I hate to be a cynic, but I've put up with this kinda thing for years in my trade...one of the things that drove me out of it for a year.

Anyway...screw em. I got invited to a birthday bash for a guy I don't like too much. Weighing pros and cons...free booze vs. forcing a smile. hmmmmmm
