Jezebel knocks on the door to her boyfriend's apartment. The door opens without showing anyone inside. She smiles and enters.
Jezebel: "Hope you like Lasagna. I found this great vegan recipe online and I want to try it tonight. By the way how was your--- A knife is shoved clean through her body from behind. UGGH!!!"
Jezebel: "Okay, clearly something is bothering you. Don't you think we could try and talk this out?" slowly turns around. Her unseen assailant stabs her again in the stomach.
Jezebel: "GAAAAHH!! Um... okay I guess not. Well it is already a little too late for that I guess huh?" Slowly falls to the floor. "You really need.... to get some help. This kind of thing--- she's stabbed in the chest before she falls to the floor ARRRGGH!! This... really isn't... healthy. Especially for... me." Slumps over dead.
Jezebel's murderer leaves the knife buried in her chest and leaves the kitchen. he picks up a cell phone and dials a saved number label "Chastity."
Killer: "Hey I did it. She's dead. Don't worry about it, I know what I'm doing. Remember what you promised me? Don't play games with me bitch, you know what I'm capable of. That's what I thought. I'll be over in the morning. See you then. I love you." Hangs up the phone smiles and his head suddenly spins 200 degrees on his shoulders and his neck cracks like a tree branch. How is this... possible? he thinks as he falls to the floor dead.
Outside the police precinct then inside the morgue. The coroner talks with a male detective.
Gabriel: "Well at least we got the murder weapon. Poor thing, never stood a chance." Looks over the dead body in the drawer.
Leroy: "Cause of death was a slam dunk too. Any prints off the weapon?"
Garbriel: "Yeah, his." points his thumb at the killer's dead body in a drawer behind him.
Leroy: "So either he was so guilt ridden he snapped his own neck or there's another killer?"
Gabriel: "The boys think it was a drug deal gone south. Party girl probably just ended up in the wrong place at the wrong time."
Leroy: "Well let me know if you find any of his associates. I'm open all night."
Gabriel: "What was it that guy on tv once said? We don't close or some shit like that. Anyway, take it easy doc. I'll let you know when we find next of kin." Leaves. A few minutes later as Leroy is filling out some paperwork Jezebel sits up in her drawer and stretches.
Leroy: "I'm really starting to question your choice in boyfriends."
Jezebel: "What? Just because I date psychopaths? They're so much fun and great in the sack."
Leroy: "Which just happens to be where you keep ending up."
Jezebel: "Oh come on it's been a year... six months. Eh, I can't keep track anymore. Got a smoke?"
Leroy: "Not in here. Backpack's in the usual place."
Jezebel jumps out of the drawer and reaches under a cabinet for a small knapsack. She rummages inside and pulls out an i.d. that says Michelle Hinsen.
Michelle: "Goodbye Jezebel, hello Michelle. I'm thinking about shaving my head this time. What do you think?"
Leroy: "As long as you stop showing up in here you could shave half of it and dye the rest the colors of the American flag for all I care."
Michelle: "Oh you silly humans, you're no fun." starts to get dressed with clothes she pulls out of the sack.
Leroy: "Funny thing about us 'silly humans,' when our friends get murdered it really bothers us."
Michelle: hugs Leroy from behind "Oh calm down. Jerk off's over there and unlike me he ain't getting up. I'll be fine, I just got bored for a while."
Leroy: "So take up a new hobby like knitting or something."
Michelle: "I was thinking monster truck racing actually."
Leroy: "That'll work too. By the way, was this guy using anything illicit?"
Michelle: "Maybe. Maybe we both were. Why do you ask?"
Leroy: "Something the detective said bugged me. Don't sweat it. You all set?"
Michelle: fully dressed she slings her backpack over one shoulder "As ready as I'm going to get in here."
Leroy: "Look, I don't mind seeing you in here just... stop making such a dramatic entrance please?"
Michelle: Looks saddened and then smiles. "Deal." Kisses Leroy on the cheek. "Alright I gotta get my new life in order, I'll stop by for coffee."
Leroy: "See you around."
