While I understand why the plant is being shut down the time I'm forced to take is neither appreciated nor wanted. Still, I'm exhausted. We need this new equipment pretty badly I won't lie so in the end I am just going to have to suck it up and take one for the team. We'll be fine as far as our finances go and I'm going to have lots of free time for art so we'll see how that goes.
I still haven't heard word one from Kevin Smith about Shadows of the Bat so I'm just going to have to try and corner him and ask face to face. That means making a trip down south for Hollywood Babble On. Why not just go to SDCC you may ask? I can't. Tickets are sold out and even when they weren't I couldn't afford them. That money instead went to Fanime and Big Wow comic fest. Wish me luck.
Speaking of Conventions Sacanime is just about one month away and that will most likely do it for us this convention season. Kraken Con is in October but I have no idea if we'll be able to make that one or not. Expect pictures, lots and lots of pictures and if you ask nicely enough I may even toss in a video.
My sim racing is coming along nicely. After a string of incidents that devastated my iRating I have run four or five races and not only have I not finished off the podium but I managed to net my second ever race victory! Its looking up right at the end of the season and I shouldn't have any trouble getting my promotion from class D to class C in two weeks. More cars, more tracks and more competitive drivers!
