So moving out, while not yet a foregone conclusion is pretty much goal number one. We finally got the landlord to fix our bathroom which was nice but the same day a family got attacked in the building next door. If the last straw hadn't already been plucked that would certainly have been it. My wife is friends with the family and thankfully they are going to be okay. Police are still searching for the assailants but I don't plan on hanging around long enough for the owner to pull his head out of his ass. We've got a few locations scouted out and now we get to move on to the fun part. Getting loan information. I have a VA loan coming so with any luck we can use that to get the mobile home we're after but if not then we'll just try and do it the old fashioned way.
I get my car back tomorrow, hopefully. At least that's when the parts are supposed to arrive. I'm hoping for a quick turn around so I can start driving my ass to work next week. This getting rides bullshit is for the fucking birds. At any rate once the springs are in and the ride height is fixed I can finally move on to my wife's car because genius that I am I left my tools in the back of my car which is in the shop. Hopefully those will still be in there when I pick it up or I'm going to go through the back shop with my three foot long, half inch drive ratchet and start aggressively interrogating mechanics until one of them gives it up.
Thanks to distractions last week I wasn't able to finish I my Ivy Valentine crossplay but thankfully this week I have four days off! That is definitely plan number one, to finish the skirt and then take some pictures for you lovely bastards. My wife already agreed to help with that so I should actually be able to take something other than bathroom selfies for a change. :)
