So thanks to some neighbor who doesn't even live in my apartment complex my car Jean Grey:
Damn near got towed. Thankfully we managed to find her a safe place to roost whilst the city circles the complex and the surrounding streets towing anything with out of date tags or that appears to not be running. She runs and is somewhat driveable but thanks to an exhaust leak I haven't been able to get her smogged. Now I have to pull the money from my paycheck next week and take her to a shop to get that fixed and get the tags. This of course is going to make me late on the rent this month but oh well, I don't have a choice in the matter. The landlord will bitch and moan but at least I'll be able to drive my car and not worry about her getting towed by some asshole city official.
Anyone willing to send me X-Mas money?
