Christ in a popsicle stick last weekend was shitty.

So the alternator on my wife's new Cougar was pretty much on its last legs. I tell her no big deal I can change it. Yeah right. After three days of being underneath the thing with help from my neighbor all I've managed to do is disable the car completely whilst also creating an environmental disaster. We finally called over a mobile mechanic to finish the job for me. Turns out the alternator is so hard to get out it took him over an hour just to pull it and that was AFTER all the work I had done. Five hours later he finally had the car back together and running again but somehow fucked up the battery terminals so I get to figure out what went wrong with those tomorrow. I also get to clean up the mini Deepwater Horizon spill in our carport WHICH the apartment manager saw and was not happy about. I promised to clean it up and she told me that was fine but it had to be done ASAP.

I need a weekend to recover from my weekend.

I don't think karma knows I even exist.

The past 2 weekends we've been doing back to school shopping. Sunday we spent the entire day cleaning up the apartment and we're still not done. Most of the time was spent on the girls' room. Ugh. Disaster area.

That's exactly what the girls were doing lol At one point they had destroyed one feather pillow and the damn feathers were EVERYWHERE! In their closet, under their bed, in totes. The sad part was we had cleaned up and vaccuumed the feathers when they initially destroyed the pillow and feathers were still everywhere!

Their excuse for destroying the pillow BTW: "The feathers were poking us..." mad
