Yesterday was totally beyond awesome.
In case you haven't seen the news Tesla made its first customer deliveries of the new Model S yesterday. It was a huge media event including a bar be que which served beer and wine. There were speeches and then a short ceremony where customers who visited the factory were handed their keys and allowed to drive out with their Model S. The best part was not only was this basically history in the making but CA governor Jerry Brown payed a surprise visit and said a few words of encouragement. At the end of the event I was lucky enough to meet Elon Musk and shake his hand. He was pretty nice. During the bar be que the customers were allowed to take their cars out to Tesla's test track and cut them loose. Those bad boys are FAST! I get the feeling that Tesla Motors is here to stay which just fine by me because I don't want to work anywhere else.

Heheh sounds like you had fun, and yeah. I had it on for 4 hours at the most before heading to dinner. It was a hassle getting it off in the car lmao. Had some pretty interesting impressions in my skin though
