So my new job is turning into quite the saga. Yesterday evening I got a phone call from Tesla saying that because I originally worked through a temp agency I had to keep working through that same agency before Tesla could hire me on. Otherwise they get fined a whopping $7,000. $7K for my piddly ass? Anyway, the new deal now is I'm still going to work next week at the Tesla plant but my employer will be the temp agency until their satisfied that I've worked for them long enough. So instead of being hired now I'm temp to hire. My pay rate doesn't change but i don't get to apply for any benefits yet and that's pretty much the only real change.

Other than that we've been hiding inside from the heat. 80+ here today and tomorrow its supposed to break 100. Pretty frakking hot for this area.
