Well it turns out Black Prophecy is pretty much kaputs. Reakktor studios, which created the game is no more and Gamigo which distributes it isn't supporting the game anymore. The writing is on the wall and once again I'm on the hunt for new MMO's to play. I'm pretty much sick of the click and wait style control scheme which limits my options pretty severely. Tera is the obvious choice but even though I'm going to get a hefty raise from my job at Namco when I start at Tesla I'm not eager to drop $50 up front followed by another $15 a month. Call me a cheapskate all you want but it seriously sucks when free 2 play games can offer top notch graphics and good game play for even the stingiest of players. Star Trek Online for all its action packed fun is still a third rate game at best. I'm glad its free to play because I would have been seriously pissed if I spent money on that game. Forsaken World for its incredible artwork and fantastic backdrop is just too slow and seriously, you can only play a big tittied vampire for so long before it gets stale. I haven't looked into Guild Wars 2 yet but I heard its subscription based as well which doesn't help. I didn't mind dropping $40 for the first one because that was it. Anything else was through microtransactions which I actually like. So yeah, unless something else that really blows my mind wanders by I'm probably going to (begrudgingly) play Tera although it'll be another three weeks while I play out the last of my paid SWTOR time.

I was hoping Tesla would send me an offer letter by today or tomorrow but so far I haven't gotten one. I have to start on a Monday since that's the only day they do new employee orientation so if I can't start this Monday I have to wait a whole other week. With any luck I'll hear from them by tomorrow. The last couple of steps went by pretty quick so I have high hopes this one will as well.

My comic, "The Gods of Promise" by hook or by crook is going live June 3rd. I would like to launch my own website to showcase it but if i have to I'll use Deviantart. one way or the other I'm launching that damn thing.
