No winter for us, just spring right into summer. Right now we have two seasons, summer and summer will be right back. Kind of like AZ. 
Yesterday was the first hot day we've had so far this year and it was a scorcher for this area at this time of year. The weekend is expected to be just as hot if not hotter and the swimming pool won't open for another couple weeks to a month. Hard to say at this point if this is the kind of weather we can look forward to from now till October its going to be a long summer season. I expect to spend a lot of days in the pool.
Now that my unemployment is straightened back out I'm going to start working on my Ivy cosplay next week. One of my friends from Fanime reminded me that you necessarily have to have a badge to go and enjoy the place. I do remember last year seeing a lot going on outside the badge areas but I'm going to get one anyway. My wife is going with me and I think it would be best if we got badges. If I'm not working by then we won't have a whole lot of money left over for other things but oh well. The main attraction is the cosplayers and the artists anyway. I'm looking forward to meeting Jen Brezas again, author of Mystic Revolution as well as Ya Ya Han and Vampy. Its should be fun, it was a blast year.
