So this hasn't been the greatest week for me. Thanksgiving sucked hard core mostly because I didn't want to go anywhere but did anyway. I got some more bad news from a friend of mine who has some really aggresive cancer that the docs don't think they can fully cut out but they're going to try to anyway. My dad has been as awnry as ever and even tried to sneak out of the nursing home only to land on his ass. I'm going to go see him in the next day or so but I doubt he's going to remember that he fell. he calls me three foru, sometimes five days in a row asking me the same questions each day and each day he forgets that he called me already. So far this month I've lost my grandmother am loosing my father and might loose one of ym best friends. Happy fucking holidays for me.

I got my grandma's sewing machine after she passed away and I've decided I'm going to put it to good use. I'm always looking for new pirate costumes (my profile picture is 80% handmade costue in fact) and I've decided to just try and make some. I'm going to get some practice and if I feel good enough about my work I may even sell some stuff so keep your eyes peeled for that you scallywags.

Also on the pirate theme I want to shoot a set that features pirate wenches. This is probably never going to happen though because I can't think of a single place that even closely resembles a tavern of that era and being broke I can't really make one or rent one. Since photography is probably out of the question I may just pull out my old drawing pad and pencils and sketch it out. I use to love doing nude drawings back in the day and I think it might be fun to get back into that. This of course is on top of the other gajillion projects I want to do.

Anyway I'm going to try and cheer up and enjoy the holidays. I'm waiting for Aquarium of the bay to call us about the volunteer oppurtunities we applied for. With any luck I'll hear something soon.
