We've been looking up places around here to learn how swim or free dive and it's going to cost us a fortune. Most places want $180 for 8 or 10 sessions. The diving classes I've found run around $300 but that does include rental gear. It's going to cost more money to learn how to dive/swim than it did to race! The good news about this is that I can get my own gear for relatively cheap which may help the money sting a little. I still have a wetsuit that i tried on yesterday and it still fits. I remember when I bought it it almost felt like it was too big and now it feels pretty snug. It hasn't been worn in years and I have gained some weight since I wore it last. I'm hoping that getting into cold water will help it fit better because it's a litle tight around my collar. I have a snorkel and mask but the mask leaks and the snorkel isn't really all that great so I'm going to have to get a bteer one if I'm going to be going into the ocean. I found a snorkel and mask that is really good for a good price so all I need now are that mask and snorkel and a monofin and I'll be good to go.
Another hockey game tomorrow night. Woo-hoo!
