Charred Black

Feathers glistening
light and pure,
gods full wrath he did endure.

Kissed by fire
his light erased,
blackened scars across his face.

His silvered mane
reduced to ash,
his hopes and dreams have all been smashed.

His tongue now burned
still warning cries,
an evil god, and fate defies.
