i'm going to see plaid in a few hours and i can't wait!!!
i'm really curious to find out where this festival is. i can only imagine its on the wasteland by kings cross where they are building the euro tunnel link (or whatever it is they are supposed to be building there)
the only downer is that the weather doesn't look like it's gonna hold.... frown

Ladybelmont and I decided we are going to come move to the UK so we can party with you, we don't get to see shows like that here. Derrick Carter is my favorite DJ in the world, I got to meet him once in Seattle. I used to own a record store on the ave. My friend flew Derrick in to play a 6 hour set for us, the next day he came in my store and autographed my tone theory 12"

plaid?!!! i'm so envious of your accessibilty to my favorite band next to tortoise and other peeps on the ninja tune label. most of the kickass shows seem to be in europe, dammit!
i heard a new movie is coming out "hamburg lights"?? or something like that (i only heard the title in passing). it's about the point of view of the highjackers from 9/11. i think this is so important to see. over here in america, but most americans wouldn't be able to handle a movie that provokes thought; most have to be spoonfed their ideas. half the people in america don't even know what the fuck is going on anyway..they are just consumed with fear. it makes me feel trapped, but to lighten the situation, i'm designing a shit to wear to the polls on election day that will read, " if you vote for bush, you're either rich or insane!!!" i hope to spark some people's triggers with this one. ARRR!!!
