DISCLAIMER: emotional rant.
It's been killing me all week, the realization that my best friend and I have drifted apart. It started a while ago, but the last six months have toasted it. There are numerous reasons, and everything is great between us...just the drifting apart. Distance is one factor, but there are numerous issues. It really hurts.
Either way, in 2011 we saw Frank Turner together at the Biltmore in Vancouver. So hearing his new single definitely has me constantly thinking about her. Lyrically, this song is bang on as well, that's the main reason.
On a cheerful note, my wife & I are going to RANCID & The Transplants in Vancouver in July! So excited to see Rancid again!
So here we go, a new Tim cover of Hyena. Hyena is off of the first self-titled album which was released on May 10, 1993! 20th Anniversary.

& I'm sorry to hear of the drifting.
Someone a long time ago told me something about how women tend to continue to make friends and broaden their social circle as they get older & have kids;
whereas men tend to go the other way around.
I have no idea how true that may be, and typically hate generalizations like that,
but it certainly seems accurate, and on point
for me.
