I just read the article about the Marla Olmstead girl... a four year old who's art is being sold for thousands of dollars. I'm not impressed with all of them, but a few stand on their own, no matter what age she is. Who are these people to say what is art and what isn't? Would they say Jackson Pollock is also not a refutable artist?



I had to see an opening of an exhibition for a renowned artist. His name's Alex Katz and I was rather unimpressed with his work. If you ask me, I'd say his work could be done by practically anyone, which was the argument the naysayers had about the Marla girl.




Which one do you think looks like it was created by a toddler??
