Why do they tell us to follow our heart when it only gets us in trouble? Idle pleasures are causing me to return to a place that I've steadfastly renounced. Familiarity breeds discontent and I am it's victim. Why do you only want something as soon as it begins to stray? Have I not completely grown out of a childlike state? There is nothing that attracts me more than independence and strength. The scales of attraction are never balanced unless altered by mind-altering substances, if only for a short while.
