Scratched the salon idea and went to Sallys and spent about $40 on stuff to do my hair. I don't think I'll ever go back to a professional again. If I can cut and color my hair just how I want it and save a lot of money in the process... why not? I even got complimented on it today. I got some thinning shears and a stripping kit... dyed the bleached parts red... the rest is still black... and I created some bangs. Looks pretty damn good if I say so myself!

Something I find ironic... our power used to go out a couple times a week for several hours over the summer during those thunderstorms we had like every day. I'm in the ghetto and I just assumed we were last on the priority list to get turned back on. Our power never went off ONCE during Frances. What the hell is that?

I just got back from the school gym. I'm never going there alone again! I felt like such an idiot figuring out what all the machines were. I had planned on staying til 11 but I forgot a towel... so I just left. At least I got to check it out. I will be back!

Got an estimate on getting my Hornet sanded and painted. This one place that specializes in older cars told me it would set me back about $2000. I'm thinking I might just have them do the bondo work and just take it to Econo Paint or some shit.
