Is anyone else in the US having torrential downpours like every damn day? 40 mph winds are commonplace. Trees all over the neighborhood are being uprooted. The power has gone out for hours several times in the past 2 weeks. I love a good thunderstorm but this shit's getting ridiculous. I don't ever remember it being like this in Florida. Plus I've seen "Day After Tomorrow" recently and the shit's making me paranoid...

being back home in louisiana, i can vouch for the weather; it had been raining since i left for my trip to jersey, and when i got back today, it was still raining.
