Where do you think the coolest place to live in the U.S. would be?

Things to consider: nightlife, job market, arts & culture, transportation, geological beauty, recreation, etc.

When I finish school, me and my man have been planning on getting the hell out of Florida. Any suggestions?

edit: Please keep in mind that I've lived in Florida most of my life and I've never even seen snow!!!
