A bit depressed and pissed off tonite...my optimism is dying slowly. So as I said before boi is laid off and my bar job has been just enough to pay my bills...well till now that is. My tips have decreased about 50% (actually more) than before x-mas. I realize that after the holidays usually jan, feb and march are shitty times in the service industry...but what the fuck? I worked 5-10:30 tonight and made 10 bucks..what a waste of time...Me and boi are currently in nurses aide classes till friday (cause u have to be one now before u can even get on the college waiting list for nursing clinicals). It teaches you to really appreciate life...working with elderly...
So whatever, we are done fri and were excited about that-unemployment isn't much and it's about run out time wise...well now we find out that we don't get to take our state tests till end of feb!!! And no one will prob hire us before that...and it costs $100 each to test and if u fail-well cough up the $ again. So the whole sending out resumes now thing just isn't as hopeful as I orginally thought...don't know what to do now. I need another job-hmm like yesterday...anyone know of a bar job around here that will love a tattooed blonde and tip her greatly???
I have to get up at 5:30 am...but I am a bit too stressed to sleep-hopefully this melatonin will help.
Can anyone help me with the job search? I have bartended for about 2 years now....
The economy blows-I can't wait to get school done. But with the big ass waiting list-prob won't get into clinicals this fall-they only take 80 a year...and there's 300 on the list...damn..when do things work out for the nice people?

Yeah the service industry is sketchy. You could always earn extra money on SG. Being that tatooed is intriguing. Also I see you are into siouxsie, just wanna say that's awesome! I've loved her since I got my first C.D.player.
