More outdoor adventures with my spawn at Bilger's Rocks in Grampian PA. The boy found a newt and we happened upon a dog named Delilah and her human while she cooled off in the creek.
SO the youngest daughter and the boy and I went for a hike at Trough Creek State Park. We had a great time. Checked out Balanced Rock which has been on the edge of a cliff for centuries. Also walked down to the creek and got our feet wet. Along the way we saw a huge black snake looking for some lodging. I love the outdoors and am grateful that I can take the kids within minutes of home to such a lush and beautiful wilderness. Never had this opportunity growing up in South Florida.
So yesterday there were some amazing clouds in the sky. in the first pic it looked like a nuclear cloud over town. The second pic I think looks like the mouth of a dragon as it's creeping up behind a white knight on his horse. The third pic looked like pooh bear and piglet having fun. the 5th pic looks like two old clouds having a laugh over something. And the last two are of the boy. one of us on our way back from throwing the football at the park and dude's playing COD while watching YouTube videos of Minecraft at the same time. Dunno how he does it.
This little goldfinch was chatting my ear up yesterday. My aloe plant survived another winter indoors and the fabulous sky Monday afternoon.
