Awesome day today...hung out with the housekeeper..
took a drive down to the latin supermarket and picked up these things:
zucchini
tomatoes
onion
loroco ( salvadorean edible flower)
monterey jack cheese
maseca
chicharon molido
and beans
....today was a lesson on PUPUSA MAKING..
i thought i could do this..this looks easy..
WRONG..hahah..the dough kept breaking on me
the fillings kept falling out...
i would flip them on the griddle too early an they would break..
we had a good laugh for a while ..then i realized i was getting in her way ...
she gave me a wink and took a look at the sink..ohhman.
I ended up washing and cleaning the kitchen while she did all the cooking..

she humbled me...and i took it graciously
MArtha is the best.!!
