FINALLY BACK IN FROM NOLA.....
few things i noticed and experienced down there that brought me happiness...

1. FRIED SHRIMP AND OYSTER POBOYS are not only the shit ..theyre inexpensive and fill a brotha up
2. FINALLY got to buy food from a SKETCHY LOOKIN SOUL FOOD SHACKETY SHACK IN THE GhETTOs of NOLA......and i must say ..FOOD ..made by a 70 year old overwieght new orleans native taste soooo good..once u get over being the only asian with a white gf in an all black part of town ..lol...
3. EVERYTHING SEEMS TO BE PUT ON PAUSE when THERES AN LSU GAME
4.BAYOU CLASSICS..over the weekend..CRAZY!!! hella AY BAY BAYS
5.BBQ made by a CAJUN ( my gf's uncle) in the Bayou WILL ALWAYS TASTE BETTER than when its made up here in cali..........
6. HOMES DOWN THERE ARE DOPE..CAN I SAY HOMES MADE WITH BRICK?...BUILT TO LAST!
7. the RArity of filipinos out there means that if u happen to run across one..and u are filipino yourself...UVE MADE AN INSTANT FRIEND Who will invite u over to their place to eat on sunday after church.
8.THE HISTORICAL ..ELY's sari sari store that used to be on decatur street in front of the HOUSE OF BLUES
has moved to ANDREW HIGGINS BLVd off of Tchoupitoulas in the wherehouse district of down town.
9. REAL ESTATE PRICES ARE SOOO TEMPTING...all over the place...imagine.paying for a loft in san francsico back in the 80s 90s.....thats how much theyre goin for now.....
you can buy a dope 3-4 bedroom house with lots of living space and a decent size front and back yard from the 240,000s and up ..
10. MY girly and I are planning to move back to NOLA next year...........
