wow. makeup as a career would be amazing.
i've never worked at a makeup counter, but i really really really want to. and i want it to be mac.
i'm friends with the counter manager at prescriptives, and he offered me a job, but i'm only staying around for a couple of months and he needs someone who will commit.
i've never really put makeup on other people...is it so much harder than doing it for yourself? or is it that you just need to practice a bunch?
sex drives are awesome. mine's coming back too. but i don't get to see my boy till spring break. :sigh: 2 more weeks.

You could do my make up, cept I'm a guy and I'm not all goth and don't wear any. It'd probably be really really funny though.

the overhead shot i saw of them looked pretty cool. i think part of the appeal is the fact that they are such bright colors while everything is so drab and colorless right now due to the time of year

Regarding Science Diet and the like:

I felt like saying ack myself. It's just like, "Yeah, your vet told you Science Diet was great. Well, guess who taught your vet to say that - Science Diet did. Guess who gets kickbacks when you buy Science Diet from the vet's office - your vet. And if you really don't believe me that Science Diet sucks, learn how to read labels and then check Science Diet's out." What I really hate about SD is people thinking it's the most fantabulous food in the world when it sucks, they're getting ripped off, and it's just going to mean bad health for their cat...that and how Science Diet has their "Nature's Best" cat food and owners are fooled into thinking that Nature's Best is natural and good and better than Wellness. Ack.

i know all about cutting back, i used to go to dinner at a friends place but the cost of gas, went up 23 cents out here in the last month, and that i can cook, i have cut way back. next week i will drive back and forth to Long Beach, 580 miles, I might spend the night out there so it will cost me a lot for one day of business.

I had to get rid of my cable a couple months ago, too. But, oooh well. You'll get used to it, adventually. :B

And I'm confused - do people in NYC not go to the grocery store?! Haha.

sometimes breathing ouit of your nose feels really good .. was trying to do water breath (in through nose, out through mouth) on Sunday but my cold prevented it ... i am glad you are feeling better ...

Hey. That's pretty damn cool about the music theatre. I'm but a wee soprano, but I love to belt from my middle to top range. And I actually sang "I Can Cook Too" for something about a week ago. Gotta love that song. And I'm not an Etobicoke native, but I spent the last four years of my life there at the arts high school. Musical theatre, naturally, so I now foam at the mouth at the idea of seeing William Finn's new show. That school made me such a damn nerd.

And DAMN I wish I was in NY. You kids seem to have all the fun. But hey, I may very well end up in that general area, depending on how the rest of the winter plays out.

i do like the line "feed me to the lesbians" .. I wonder what happened .. watched movies with the wife myself ...
