Thursday: You're Entitled to Your Own Stupid Opinion.
1. Idol has become a mockery of itself. Please let's just stop the insanity and make this the last season, because it's clear that America is completely clueless.
2. I saw a snail with a really pretty shell on the sidewalk outside of the Garden by my apartment this morning. It made me smile.
3. I went to Unimax yesterday to pick up some tapers and tunnels for my best friend - her birthday is May 5th. Anyway, of course I couldn't help but pick up a couple of items for myself - I got a pair of double flare clear glass plugs, and a pair of 4G CBRs... which would be far more awesome if I could get the fucking bead out in order to put them in my fucking EARS.
My ring-opening pliers are useless. I'm probably going to end up getting a pair of THESE spring-loaded puppies:
They excite me. The point is that I want to be able to change my jewelry as often as I please, and I certainly can't with the CBRs I bought yesterday. Meh.
4. I really want to learn some different languages. Maybe I'll take some classes this year, if I can afford it. My two top choices are French and Polish - I know basic French from school, and I have some conversational Polish from my family, but I want to be fluent in both. Spanish is an option, too, but not a priority. I used to think, when I lived in Canada, that Spanish was such a beautiful laguange. But after moving to New York and being immersed in it, it kind of grates on me a little now. But I'm sure it would be useful.
5. I'm a very lucky girl to have Twwly in my life.
6. Tonight after spinning, Dan and I will stop at Accociated and Red, White and Bubbly, then head home to get domestic. Dinner, laundry and Blade Trinity will occupy us for the remainder of the evening. And some sex, of course. Hot sex.
