Monday: Plop, Plop, Fizz, Fizz.....
1. A weekend for the record books.
a) Went to see The Ring Two with Dan, Gay Nick, Jordan and her man Ed, and my co-worker. Watch out for those fucking deer, that's all I gotta say.
b) Saturday was ymonster's big birthday bash courtesy of SGNY. Everyone was in fine form, to say the least. It's been confirmed that we're all a bunch of whores, but at least we keep it in the family, right? I love those kids.
c) Worst. Hangover. EVER. I was pretty much out of comission all day, but I did manage to finish the laundry and prepare a half-decent meal for my love. We curled up and tried to watch Ladder 49. I say 'tried' because it was impossible to finish.
2. Tonight I'm skipping Yoga, but this time for two good reasons. The first being a quick visit to the lovely Aspen's humble abode in SoHo. We're gonna play with makeup. *giggle!* Then it's off to EVR for The Soulatomic Radio Show with DJ Will Evans. Dan and I will be bringing a bottle of wine so we can max and relax to the tune of some boomin' blues.
3. Tomorrow I'll be spending my 'lunchbreak' at Last Rites with my favourite fellow Canuck, Twwly, and of course the uber-talented ymonster. Then after work, the fun will continue with the aforementioned pair plus Dan, BK_Unknown, Amina and elzig somewhere in Brooklyn. Am I the luckiest girl ever, or what?!
I'm a busy girl today. More tomorrow!
