SO this morning as I was getting ready, listening to Stern as always, a commercial came on for Real Time - which happens to be a favorite in our household. Looks like a new season is starting tonight. Well isn't that just bloody fantastic.
What a day to cut off your kickass cable service.
If someone that has HBO wants to tape the entire season for us and mail it when it's over, we'll have a threesome with you. Unless you're a guy.

Last night I had the pleasure of doing Iggy's makeup for a set she was to shoot later in the evening. It turned out great, though it was a shame I couldn't go to the actual shoot and do touch ups. Anyway, I hear the shoot went off without a hitch. tmronin is gonna send some prints my way for my portfolio. Hooray! I hope it gets accepted so you all can see my handiwork. *gloat*
SHAMELESS SELF-PROMOTION: If anyone (SG or non-SG) needs their makeup done in an insanely wicked super bomb awesome fashion for a shoot or event, holler at your girl. I want to get back in the swing of things.
In other news, I'm super psyched about my Dad and my best friend arriving today. It's my Dad's birthday and we're going to celebrate (however modestly) all weekend. Saturday will definitely be the pinnacle with a delicious sushi dinner followed by SNL followed by a night of canoodling with celebrities over vodka tonics. Besides that, I think they want to see The Gates, which is fine with me.
Here's hoping I can sneak out of work early today to fit my boxing class in before the company arrives.

I felt like saying ack myself. It's just like, "Yeah, your vet told you Science Diet was great. Well, guess who taught your vet to say that - Science Diet did. Guess who gets kickbacks when you buy Science Diet from the vet's office - your vet. And if you really don't believe me that Science Diet sucks, learn how to read labels and then check Science Diet's out." What I really hate about SD is people thinking it's the most fantabulous food in the world when it sucks, they're getting ripped off, and it's just going to mean bad health for their cat...that and how Science Diet has their "Nature's Best" cat food and owners are fooled into thinking that Nature's Best is natural and good and better than Wellness. Ack.
