First and foremost...big huge wet kisses to all of you who left such lovely birthday wishes on my journal. I had 109 comments as of last night, and that's far and beyond anything I could have imagined. I am officially humbled. Thank you ALL. 
My birthday weekend was blissfully quiet. Dan and I finished our holiday shopping on Friday night, then went home and relaxed. My parents both called me that night to remind me what they were doing 24 years prior, and my Dad did a shot of port at midnight in my honor. Cute! I slept until 1:00p on Saturday, and woke up to my first gift from Dan - a Wonder Woman camisole and panties set. Naturally, I modelled them. Let's just say I got 'approval'.
I went to the gym that afternoon, then when Dan was finished with the law books, we went to Taro for an absolutely delicious sushi extravaganza. Best sushi we've had in Brooklyn so far. During dinner, Dan presented me with my extra-special birthday gift - a gorgeous silver dove necklace from Adorned. Now I know why he was sneaking around and whispering with the staff there the last time we stopped by. 
On our walk home, we stopped for a couple of drinks and picked up the recent issue of Tattoos for Women, featuring the fantastically spectacular Twwly on the cover. When we arrived in our cozy apartment, it was business as usual - pot, tv, food, and sex. Life is good.
Sunday was equally simple - gym, organizing, tidying, big delicious homemade vegan s'ketti dinner, and of course sex. Mmmm, s'ketti and sex.
All in all, a very satisfying birthday weekend. Come January, we'll have a real celebration involving copious amounts of alcohol and debauchery. SGNY, prepare yourselves.
Today is Mr. Lawsy Von Studypants' last final of the semester, thank the christ. We'll be partying hearty tonight, if anyone cares to join us. We'll probably be starting the evening somewhere in Murray Hill, and who knows after that. It's pretty effing cold out there, so we may end up coming back to Brooklyn.
