BLARGH!

I love the holidays, I mean LOVE them. But for the love of GOD there're just not enough hours in the day to get all the shit done that needs to be done. I still haven't sent out my freakin' XMas cards!

My birthday was nice. Dan took me to dinner at a cozy little italian joint, then we went to see The Last Samurai. Besides the fact that Tom Cruise was in it, it was a brilliant movie. Beautiful to watch. Ken Watanabe, who played the head Samurai, was UNBELIEVEABLE.

Dan got me a gorgeous birthstone eternity band - Blue Topaz with white gold. I got all flustered when he gave it to me - the table next to us thought he was proposing, and kept staring and whispering. It was cute. He even got me a hat and scarf that matched my new ring (and, incidentally, my eyes). I think he did pretty well for himself, no?

I at least owe him some oral.

Thanks to those of you who wished me a Happy BDay. You guys are the greatest.

This weekend I will be in Cleveland with Dan for a wedding, so I may not be back online until Sunday evening. Have a kickass weekend, darlings, and I'll chat you all up when I return.
