Are you friends with your exes?
I'm still close with almost all of my past relationships (be they long or short term) and it really pisses my current BF off. My feeling is, if you cared about them enough to be intimate with them, or even spend a good chunk of your life with them by your side, shouldn't you care enough to keep in touch? To assure their well-being? It's common sense in my eyes.
Just because you're no longer with a person romantically doesn't mean you just stop caring.
