You described your computer situation to me a while ago and I concluded at that time that it was likely infected with viruses. They are almost impossible to avoid and I tried all this time to think of some way I could help from here, but I can only offer information. You need to save your files somewhere, like a CD, DVD or USB key and then wipe the hard drive. After that you can install Windows and all your programs again.

Mine is running like crap too and I will have to do the same thing soon. Lucky for me I have extra computers and if I lived where you are, I would give you one as my contribution to art.

I'm sure a beautiful and exciting young lady like you can find young men eager to help if you need it. (I don't know if you're a computer expert.)

It's so normal for me and my friends to help other people with their computers and other things that I forget how crude some people can be.

I'm switching to my Mac gradually as I get to know it because of the virus problem and also because it's just better. I wish I could afford a new one! There is good imaging software for Macs but you might have to switch programs if there isn't a Mac version of what you are using now. Photoshop is the king, of course, but there's Photoshop Elements which is far from basic, and Aperture 2 from Apple that I haven't tried yet.

Many times lost files can be recovered, so don't give up until you are sure there is no hope at all.
