That's fantastic! I've been thinking about getting one myself. Everyone keeps speculating on the discomfort factor though, so completely happy that you posted a blog about this. What does the healing process look like?

I have nothing but good things to say about this piercing. I was on antibiotics when I got pierced for like 5 days for a nasty spider bite that the doc was afraid would get infected. It never did, and my piercing seemed to heal incredibly fast. It really hasn't even felt like it needed a healing period at all, like it's always been there!

@Kismi - Thanks for the recommendation, I'll have to check her out. I have the art that I want and what I'm thinking it'll cost to get started, so your timing is perfect. I'll be sure and put pics up for the nape and any ink I get done as soon as I can get my camera put back together.
