wow, what a crazy few days it was here.
Not sure if anyone heard but the FL panhandle and some of AL got hit hard with lots of rain. Lots of roads destroying and washed away, houses flooded and lots of people staying in shelters. My home is safe and so am I but just 10 houses down, about 12 homes are destroyed. I drove past today after the water had gone down and carpets, furniture, sofas all kinds of things out on the curb. I feel so bad for them yet I feel so helpless.
I got in contact with 2 local news stations and told them I'm giving away free family photo sessions to families that lost their homes to the floods. I might not be able to replace their old photos but I can help make new ones.
To me it's the only way I feel as though I can help.
The last picture is my street, my home is a few houses up on higher ground.
