yesterday was a definate spring day. i dried my first laundry outside for 2005 and when i got into bed after an evening in the company of friends the smell was gorgeous. clean laundry is one of my favourite things, and i forgot how much better the air dried scent is.
my friend and i walked through one of the best parks in london and the crocuses were out to greet us with a gentle nod of their heads. sprays of yellow, purple and white, quite defiant in the face of giant bare branched trees.
we sat and looked at the london skyline, from the wheel to the city to canary wharf and the dome. its at times like this i love london whole heartedly.
