So...

My grandpap died this morning.

I was really bummed out because I never got my PhD before he passed and he was a big inspiration in my journey towards academia. Also he and I loved opera, and I would have loved to sing for him again.

Although my mom said mourning is a self-indulgent act, he's fine and doesn't want to "rot around and...

From your memories alone, he will live eternal. I send my heartfelt condolences.

When are you going to do another set?

Okay so aside from my general location set ideas at: "Roosevelt Island RiverWalk in the Rain" and the "Twisted Branch Tea Bazaar Hookah Lounge"... biggrin I have a new set idea to utilize my favorite green sweater: "BrisusCheez: Late Bloomer" which basically involved being tied up in a green garden hose in my green sweater and cute underwear (of course!) and playing on the words with...

So I am in the airport in Atlanta coming back from Puerto Rico. Yup going home to an empty house, not very happy. BUUUUT I had to burst out laughing when I was reading your journal entries this past week, and I come across your AWESOME BEWBIE pics and I happened to be getting chatted up by some IT geek who runs the servers for some huge non profit church organizations. He's rattling on about my use of a Mac computer, and yet here I is looking at the awesomeness that nature has bestowed upon you. THAT made me smile. BTW that director is a douche, with any luck he will figure out one day where to put his head besides his ass.

FREE NACHOS!

My friend and I went to a bar after a play tonight and the table next to us left their doggie bag of nachos - you better believe we took those bad boys home! Yes, we're basically street people, it's cool, those nachos were awesome. biggrin

Well, I had a bad/good moment today:

I was telling my friends at the theatre that I didn't...

frown Sorry you didn't get cast in Pippin. But it's great to have friends around who support you -- and steal nachos with you. smile
skippypeanutbtr:
Don't sweat it...the director just doesn't know what he is missing; just keep plugging away, because things always happen for you when you least expect it. Have a wonderful day.

Hm...

ANYWAY: Little frustrated, housing search not going so well frown (maybe I should start promising sandwiches and blowjobs in exchange for housing?), AND none of my auditions are turning out well/into jobs. frown I'm a frustrated entertainer!

I maybe posting some singing silliness later (AKA: Lady Gaga in an Opera Voice; I...

Aw! Even though I wish you were getting something from your auditions and your house hunt, it's hard not to like anything that begins with a blowjob and ends with boobs.

Speaking of which -- that's it. I'm getting a canoe and coming up there. wink

Well...I live in Hawaii; a bit out of the way, and I am on the way to Iraq...but if I could...you would be welcome in my humble abode....with or without promises of dinner and a date love

So... I'm FLOODED in my house!

I've tried to leave twice today. Once at 6am for my morning job and then again at noon for my afternoon job, but both roads that leave out of my complex are blocked off! One by a tree being fallen (they aren't even letting bicyclists through!) And the other by 2 ft of water. There is a bunch of...

Woot! Lots of fun stuff happening, even if you're flooded in at your condo. Hopefully you have some British comedies to keep you company and some fun stuff to do.

Meanwhile, I wound up with an audition tomorrow -- that I heard about today. biggrin Ah, the auditioning life.

I'm going to NYC tomorrow morning bright and early!

Now, I wish I had the foresight to get a photographer to shoot my Roosevelt Island waterwalk/tram idea for a set. frown (I actually think I emailed a ton of S.P. back two years ago about it... but I'm lame and I haven't been as persistent as I probably should be...)

Oh well... maybe one day I'll...

I still have to read your play. I'll send you an e-mail on that Sunday or Monday. But don't worry. When I get to be a famous webcomic guy, I may forget the little people, but I'll never forget you. kiss

(P.S.: You know how to make a financially successful webcomic? Step 1: Start in 1998....)

I like Richard III. Was it a classical setting, or did they modernize it for the production?

Affordable places to live are always a plus! smile And here's hoping you find a sub-$300 path to NYC. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! kiss
