I think because I was raised in a family where we constantly were reminded by what we didn't have, sometimes I forget to be happy for what I do have. So I wanted to give you a picture of two "flaws" I'm happy for today:
My morning hair this morning - it made me LOL:

This mole/birthmark, I think it's super cute:

Not much else going on. Trying to avoid the super bowl. Writing a comedic one-act play inspired by "1984". Love this sketch:

It makes me smile every time I watch it. It's the first good thing I've seen on SNL in AGES. I'm still trying to figure out how I can convince them they need me as a writer...
Also here's my soup recipe so I can share my homemade wintry love with you!
1 can tomato paste
1 can diced tomatoes
1 can yellow corn
1 can navy beans
2 small onions
2 cups of frozen green beans
1 bag of baby carrots
1 cup of barley
a dollop of extra virgin olive oil
cumin
chili powder
2 cubes of vegetable stock
black pepper
5 italian spice mix
salt to taste
(you can also put in a chuck roast for those meat eaters out there)
Fill a large pot halfway with water and whisk in a can a tomato paste. You can also put in all of your spices and olive oil now, but I like to put them in along the way in little pieces. Cook tougher vegetables first like onions (in big chunks), carrots and frozen green beans, about 30 minutes-1hour later you can put in the remainder of your canned vegetables, barley and spices. Cook for another hour on low heat. Serve and eat! YUM!
Anyway, what is a "flaw" that you love about yourself?
ETA:
1) Finding green lingerie is really hard!
2) "Glee" better have some new episodes coming, SOON!

And I dig your morning hair.
Thanks for the recipe! I'll have to give it a try some time.
