So can I tell you how amazeballs my piercer is?

I have had a bad dermal since Nov. 7. She looked at it. Yelled at me a bit for waiting so long to see her. Said she doesn't think she can get it out it was in there so deep - and then performed surgery and got it out!
I can't accurately describe how amazing this was, or how awesome it felt to finally get it out. It was like bloodletting + endorphins + taking a really good poop. In the end I felt as if my whole chest and shoulder was freer and had better mobility. It was if my chi was finally flowing right again (yep, I used a big ol' hippie metaphor.)
Christina is so awesome, she only charged me $5 for set up fee - and I tipped her $15 for her locking down her show to cut me open. I still can't believe I didn't have to go to the ER! And she said all of my other dermals look great and healed nicely. But I still have to watch them with this impromptu surgery - they may want to get aggravated and reject. So children, don't be like me - get things looked at immediately if they are fucked up!
Anyway - I didn't take pictures of the whole ordeal but here's two of the bloody aftermath:
I'm also very lucky because Christina has also agreed to re-dermal me up this June. I'm hoping I have enough money by then to add 2-4 more to my necklace.
On a quick side note: I wish I had a better camera, but I think most of my pictures suck because I don't know how to take them and even a great camera will only fix so much... One day, I'll become a better artist and practice.

I sculpted it in ceramic using coils and painted it with oil paint.
