Hm...

I've just been asked to join the cast of "Intimate Apparel" - I'm rather busy, but flattered and I don't know what to do. frown

I would be playing a society trophy wife in 1905 Manhattan driven to drink because her husband hates her for not being able to give him an heir. It sounds delicious and I'd get to be in a corset for the majority of the show. biggrin

*sigh* Decisions, decisions...

I'm leaning towards "no" at this point.

I think I may be too busy with "Measure 4 Measure" playing my rakish, Duke-ish self.

Do I play an irresponsible man so in love with his own cleverness he ruins everyone's life in the process of being manipulative but good natured?

Or do I choose being a girl in a corset?



Opinions? (I probably won't take them into account for my final decision, but it may influence my decision to audition...)

ETA: I'm almost done writing my "Naked Play" - I doubt I'll find any theatre company outside of New York City who wants to do it though, despite it's inherent silliness/awesomeness (if I do brag about it myself). biggrin

Hmmmm... I do love a girl in a corset. But it sounds like you'd have a lot more fun in Measure 4 Measure. That's a tough one.

I suppose you could go for rakish and Duke-ish onstage and post more corset here..... ;-)

Haha! Yeah, it is easy to get greedy when people actually start offering you work. wink But it would be nice if some of those people also offered you paychecks. biggrin
