"Footloose" is OVER!
Time to regain control of my life. I shall miss singing every day this past summer, but I need to do other things like laundry and pay bills and clean my house and most importantly find a school to finish my Ph.D. in.
I must admit, this is going to be a difficult process. I'm felling a little untethered lately and that my energy is a little scattered. I have a goal, I just don't know how to ensure it working out.... You see, I want to go into neuroscience, but I haven't done anything neuro-scientific for 2 years - In fact, I've done mostly theatre.
And since I'm not going into theatre, instead I'm choosing neuroscience, that might no look so good for some grad school apps, needless to say I'm a little worried.
I'm still at my minimum wage job and I don't want to lose it, but I do want to move on.
I suppose we all go through times like these. I'm just thankful that there's no more cancer or car wrecks in the forecast thus far.
Hang in there y'all! I'll be updating a little more frequently now that I'm not back/on stage.
PS: I hate allergies, and they hate my eyes and nose. I think we'll call it a draw today.
PPS: I just impulsively applied to a neuroscience program... I don't know if it can be called impulsive if you've wanted to do it for 2 years... but it seems like instead of tattoos, I go with $100 Ph.D. applications.
If anyone knows anything about McMaster University will you let me know? It seemed like a good fit from the website!

I will keep my fingers crossed for a good result to the application.
