So when you just get to sit with your foot up all day, your mind starts to wander...
I made up a story about what's going on in my knee.
So like all the little red blood cells heard this jamming music called "Crack" mainly from what it sounds like and how addicted they are to this stuff.
The hip new joint (ha! Get it, joint? Aw, nuts to you...) called "The Left Knee" run by Jimmy Patella just started playing crack on Monday night. The hot new band Cartilage and the Ligaments were all lined up to rock out. So of COURSE all of the red blood cells had to get in on that action! So they all rushed to "The Left Knee" as soon as they heard the "Crack" start to play. But the set list was too short. Angry and disgruntled, the little red blood cells decided to stage a protest at "The Left Knee" by sitting right outside of it in a big lump (if you will...). They waited all Monday night, and all through Tuesday. But it was cold outside and the red blood cells hate the cold. By Wednesday morning they realized that there was not going to be any more "Crack" music, so they left. But not before they got out their little black and blue spray pain cans to graffiti up "The Left Knee". "That will show them for not cracking!" they cheered in their miniscule anger and they stomped off in a huff.
So now my swelling is down and I have a huge black and blue mark across my knee. You can kind of tell I work with kids from this story example.
ETA: I want to hold an event here! OMG what fun!

It sounds like at least a one-act to me.

I can see that! As long as Ray Romano doesn't provide one of the voices.
