Little update...

I am super happy to be singing again. I love musical rehearsal, I love singing my part, I love saying my lines, I love working with the people in the show.

But other than that I fell kinda meh:

- I'm uneasy about my new job (I'm not sure if they are going to keep me hired if they know I dropped out of school... plus it's a very easy/boring sedentary job)

- I'm still getting rejected left and right by university programs, presentations & conferences, grants, and jobs. I just want my ship to come in and be an adult with a real job. I'm still going to keep trying though, I can't stay in VA another year living on food stamps.

- I'm having a lot of food/weight issues going on that's making me feel icky.

- The artistic director for my internship just quit, it's going to be really sad to see him go.

- I've been assigned paint duty for "Tartuffe" which makes me feel like I have the swine flu (painting sets for 6 hours a day is tiring!)

- I just don't feel a part of the world lately. I can't get anything done. I feel like I just need more hours in the day and more stability and purpose in my life.

Is it weird that I can feel so happy and so sad all at the same time? It's very weird... I'm just super happy that I have this musical to keep my spirits up and hope for the best.

SO, lovely peoples - what's made you happy lately? I want to live through your experiences vicariously and try some new, fun things that might perk me up a little this summer! smile

happy thoughts smile

What made me happy was my dad going the extra mile with my dog. She passed away over the weekend and instead and just buring her in the back yard, she got a bird feeder, some mulch, and some red bricks and built a little garden for her to rest in, her garden. it's beautiful and made the whole family smile.
