When I find myself in times of trouble...

Eh, I wish I was poetic, but I kinda just let things play out and try to gt the least hurt in the end... Sorry I'm no Beatle!

I've been having weird dreams again -this time it was a murder mystery ala Agatha Christie or yeah, maybe Jason or Scream...

There was this big dance competition in this beautiful but empty old house, where my dream started was one of the final rounds where my team was ready to win, but a masked murderer began to capture us one by one and tie us up. We all managed to wiggle free and unmask the murderer before they were going to stab us, but they got away - running out into the pouring down rain. Since the electricity wasn't working because of the rain, my team and the rest of the competitors decided to stick together and start a fire in the great hall in case the murderer came back.

And that's when I work up! Weird, no? I can always be guaranteed that I have bizarre mental gymnastics at night.

This is spoilers because it's just me venting and not quite so entertaining!

Things have not been going on too well at home. BIG shock! (Can you feel the palpable sarcasm? wink )
ONE:
Anyway, my parents are selling their second home, the one I've been living in for the past two years, based on a decision: 1. we're out of freaking money, 2. I'm not going to finish my Ph.D. right now. (Which my mom says I'm a major screw up and directionless about... but you know whatever, I should be used this this by now.) So I'm looking for a place to crash asap so I can move out for the model house showings.
TWO:
My mom went through my sister's camera and found out about her tattoo about her breast cancer survival and she freaked out and so my mom and my sister are not talking to each other.
THREE:
I'm not going to CA after all. I can't get the money together and there's just not enough time, I'm bummed out because I have to reject my contract and I have to work a restaurant job/retail job again despite wanting to get a REAL job where I can use my masters degrees. frown I also don't like the idea of being trapped in VA all summer either.
FOUR:
I still have to have the "money talk" with my dad since he's upset I've had to pay $3000+ in bounced checks and late fees, which in my estimation were pretty unavoidable because when all of this happened I was living paycheck to paycheck beyond my means and now my budget for everything is $0 because I'm unemployed - so sure, let's have that talk, you tell me how to budget $0 into living expenses, I'm all ears.
FIVE:
According to my mom, I'm fat and my hair is thin and I've purposely made myself ugly to torment her and not get a job, because no one hires ugly girls. *Sigh*



Who else LOVES Easter Holidays? Me? AM I THE ONLY ONE? smile
