And it may just be the Lunar New Year thing - but I think they're good ideas.
I don't know what I'm going to do with them yet or how I'm going to write them but here they are:
1. There's a neo-communist revolution at a Dunkin Donuts where all of the employees dress in black and take the store hostage for a day to do a play, while the costumers are really confused. A few highlights from my dream is that the play-makers eventually end up working and serving mentally challenged people because they don't get it - and then the "normal" people get angry, and apparently for a bunch of slackers they built an elaborate escape hatch behind the counter to escape the angry mob.
2. A bunch of people I know are making a movie about gangsters in the 1960's. I was just excited because I get to have a press on nails, a crazy updo and wear a butter yellow dress. It's being filmed in an abandoned Dollar Tree that surprisingly went out of business in the recession. In the movie, I get the be murdered in a small shower (it might have been mine... like my real one at my condo, this is not an expensive movie) by a method I don't think would ever be approved by the MPAA. A few highlights from this dream is that I was brought on really late so I got to see clips of people I haven't seen in years acting, which made me happy and giddy even though I know it was just a dream, and during a scene filmed in an old arcade (there's air hockey tables everywhere) my one friend is wearing a crazy dress in the last scene in which I wonder "Is your character a Mormon?" and she answers perkily "Yes! You're the only one who got it! Everyone else thought I was dressed wrong!" (Which I don't understand this last bit).
That was basically it for one night I was told it was going to snow, but apparently southerners are confused. Just kidding.
But seriously, it's a dusting, not reason to panic - I mean, I got sent home early from work yesterday! What is that about.
PS: If anyone can interpret these dreams, I'm all for that.
