So I realized I only really want 4 things in life:
1. For my mom to get better.
2. To be thin.
3. To get my Ph.D.
4. To get cast and be in plays.

That's it. My mom said "Well, you can't have everything!" But I don't think I'm being unreasonable. My mom also said that maybe because I do plays no one takes me seriously - but I don't think that's true either. I mean, people who have kids and go back to school have way more time to spend on their "hobby" (no offense meant to moms and dads who have kids and get M.A.'s, Ph.D.'s etc.) so who cares what I do on my own time? I consider it working in my community, like being a volunteer. My mom said "Well, people with kids have their husband's to support them."

Ugh. I don't like fighting with my mom when she's not doing so well, but I think my goals are achievable.

Now if I can only get a break from someone...

2008 = the year that I hate. I can't wait until it ends, for real.
