Today I feel as if I just want to watch and observe other people's lives instead of participating in the world. Meh - I need to get more active and involved...
Also, I'm obsessed with cake. Not eating it, but just how it is a part of every major ritualistic family holiday and get-together. Anyone know any mythologies or traditions surrounding cake? I'd love to learn more about the history of why cake is a major food staple in celebration.

Definition of my name: Gabriel(le) - One of the two highest ranking angels. He is the angel of mercy, annunciation, resurrection, vengeance, death and revelation. He presides over paradise and is the ruling angel of the first heaven. Edited for PS: I CAN'T GET MY HAIR BLONDE! Whoever said red was the easiest color to get out of your hair lied to me! I've tried hair dyes, peroxide, lemon juice, chamomile tea - how else can I bleach out the red? I liked "Iron Man" all, but I don't want to spend the summer with Pepper's hair color! Picture for added emphasis on how red my hair still is after two weeks of bleaching:
