Well 2008 ain't so great after all.
After being a part of my parent's house basement flooding. I was doing laundry and today at 1pm the power went out. I called everyone from the maintenance men at the condos, to my parents, to the power company. No one ever called me back or took care of anything. I even tried to fix my fuse box. I had to go to rehearsal so my roommate took over trying to get ahold of someone. Finally she got online and find out that apparently we owe the power co. $250 for 6 months of power. All this time we thought our $90 monthly HOA fees were coving it since we never EVER got a bill from the power co. I sent them an email explaining all of this. I'm just upset cause I was in the middle of doing laundry (saving grace: it's 70 degrees out so I could air dry it on my balcony) and our food is slowly dying in our fridge, and even if we mail our bill tomorrow, we still can't get our power back on asap.
Arg, I'm just so exhausted. My school still hasn't worked out, my money situation is still sucky, I just really, really want something to work out nicely a bit quicker. At least I hope the school thing works out, they have two days. I think I can live without power for a while, but I want to be able to finish my degree by 30!
Good thoughts are always appreciated, but I'm happy that at least I have my health.
